Clinical Pharmacist II (Travel) (13 weeks)
Location: Newark, DE
Exp. Shift: AM 5 X 8s • 40 hrs / Week
Schedule:
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Weekends: Not required
- On-Call: Not required
Job Summary:
Christiana Hospital is seeking a qualified Clinical Pharmacist II to join their pharmacy team on a travel contract. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and timely pharmaceutical care in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide clinical support and drug information to healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Monitor patient medication therapy and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Active Delaware Pharmacist License (DE)
- BLS from AHA
- Prior clinical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication management and patient care
