Psychologist Travel Position - Tennessee

Job Summary

Provide professional mental health care to inmates/residents, including psychological screenings, assessments, and treatment planning. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team to ensure integrated patient care and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs and functioning.
• Make regular rounds in segregation or confined housing areas to assess mental health and adjustment.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention.
• Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplain, security, and other staff to address behavioral escalations and mental health changes.

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
• Work locations split between two facilities in Tennessee

Required Qualifications

• Valid Psychologist license in Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychologist, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
