Local Contract Social Work - Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide early identification, assessment, and short-term treatment of mental health concerns
• Deliver individual and group interventions, including crisis support and brief therapy
• Support students with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
• Collaborate with wellness staff, instructors, and residential teams to promote student success
• Assist with reasonable accommodations and review applicant files
• Provide staff training on mental health topics such as communication, behavior management, and substance use
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of records
• Participate in program development and support student success initiatives
• Prepare reports and support compliance with Job Corps and Department of Labor guidelines

Qualifications:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical/Counseling Psychologist, or equivalent independent licensure in California (active and unrestricted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapy services preferred
• Experience working with adolescents or young adults (ages 16–24) strongly preferred
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as an independent practitioner in state of California and does not require supervision to practice
• Clinical/Counseling Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed independent practitioner providing assessment and treatment services to adolescents and young adults
• Two years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapy services with youth and young adults is preferred.
