Overview

Seeking an experienced PACU RN to provide specialized care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will excel in patient assessment, monitoring, and post-operative care in a fast-paced recovery environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery period
Manage airway, pain control, and post-operative complications
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Provide patient and family education regarding recovery and discharge instructions
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

Active Pennsylvania RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
Strong assessment, critical care, and recovery room skills
Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
