Description
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental standards.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in Cerner EMR.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Active NMTCB Certification (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Experience with PET Imaging procedures required.
- Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.
- Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills.
