Unit & Schedule

• Mixed Acuity unit — Med/Surg Tele and Stepdown on the same floor
• 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• 13 or 26 week contract options available
• Weekends: 4 shifts per 4-week period (Days: Sat/Sun | Nights: Fri & Sat night)

Patient Population & Unit Highlights

• 48-bed unit specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery
• Patient population includes strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain/spinal cord tumors
• 8 beds equipped for long-term EEG monitoring
• Robust care team: CNAs, care techs, transport, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs on select floors

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required, must be from a large urban hospital
• Level I Academic Medical Center experience preferred for first-time travelers
• EPIC charting experience required
• Drips required on all floors
• Locals not accepted (must be 100+ miles from facility)

Float

• Float required within scope to meet staffing needs across multiple units
• Travelers are first to float

Certifications & Scrubs

• Steele gray scrubs with facility logo required (ordering info provided upon confirmation)
• 100% nicotine-free facility

Scheduling Notes

• Up to 2 weeks RTO permitted — must be submitted with application
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays — submit request with application
• Pending license accepted; if not in hand at submission, start date is 6 weeks out

Parking

• Monthly permit available (~$55/mo depending on lot) or daily rate ($3 for 20 hrs)
