Surgical ICU Travel RN – Long Island, NY

Spend your summer on Long Island while working in a high-acuity Surgical ICU caring for critically ill post-operative patients. This 13-week day shift opportunity combines rewarding critical care experience with easy access to beaches, waterfront restaurants, boating, wineries, and everything that makes Long Island one of New York's most desirable summer destinations.

We're seeking experienced SICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced critical care environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team caring for highly acute surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills.

What You'll Do:

Care for critically ill and post-operative surgical patients
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring
Administer medications and advanced therapies
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
Support patients and families through complex critical care journeys

What We're Looking For:

Recent Surgical ICU experience
Active New York RN license
BSN preferred
Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Previous travel experience welcomed but not required
