Description
Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery | $2808 weekly (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive care to obstetric patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care continuum in a high-acuity maternity unit.
Job Details:
Location: Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extensions
Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Travel Requirements
75-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility
Candidates residing within 75 miles are eligible but will receive the local pay rate
Unit Details
18-bed Maternity/L&D Unit:
3 Triage Beds
2 Antepartum Beds
2 Cesarean Section ORs
3 Recovery Beds
8 Labor & Delivery Beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
1:1 to 1:2
Required Experience
Minimum 4–5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Strong experience in:
Antepartum care
Intrapartum/Labor management
Postpartum care
Gynecological patients
Newborn care
Epic/Stork EMR experience required
Required Certifications
Active RN License
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Floating Requirements
May float to:
Mother-Baby Unit
Pediatrics
Adult inpatient units as needed
When floating outside specialty scope, RN may function in a helping-hands/support role
