Description

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) to provide specialized care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period. The RN will assess patient conditions, monitor fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management treatments as ordered.
Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies and complications.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
