Description
Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of current ER/ED experience
- Must have completed a travel assignment within the last 15 months
- Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
- Epic experience required
- Comfortable working as the sole RN from 11 PM–7 AM
- Telemetry interpretation experience required
- RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation) experience required
- Experience with TNK, cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin drips required
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- TNCC
- NIHSS (may be completed during onboarding)
Preferred Certifications
- CPI
- MOAB
- MAB
- SAMA
Equipment Experience
Required/Preferred Experience With:
- Spacelabs cardiac monitors
- Lucas device (preferred)
- Airvo (preferred)
- Hamilton Ventilator (preferred)
Patient Care Experience
- Cardiac emergencies
- Stroke patients (TNK administration)
- Trauma patients
- Moderate sedation cases
- Critical care drips and titration
