MedSurg RN 6th Floor - D/N Rotate - *4 Positions Available*

Location: Wheeling - WV

Position: Registered Nurse | Specialty: Medical Surgical

Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Day/Night Rotate | Shift Length: 12 hours

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

50 mile radius rule - All submissions must include a copy of candidate's unexpired Driver's License, licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission.

# of beds: 30 Ratios: 1:6/7 *Ratio will get up to 1:7, RN must be ok with this.* 

Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS.

Common diagnoses/types of patients: CHF, COPD, cellulitis, R/O, chole, appe, pneumonia, urosepsis, AKI.

Charge Nurse? One charge RN on the floor, with assignment.

Are there nurse aides on this unit: Yes, PCTs on the unit.

Are RNs required to Titrate drips? heparin based on aptt results.

RT equipment (vents, cpap, bipap, etc): No vent, intermittent BIPAP.

Is there tele on this unit? Yes, watched remotely by monitor techs.

Shifts and Scheduling: transitioning to Qgenda.

Weekends and Holidays: Scheduled as needed, usually 1/2 the total weekends.

Is there a standby or call requirement? No.

Floating Requirements: As needed based on census, external traveler first to float.

Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
