Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Days (8 Hour Shifts)
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week guaranteed)
On-Call: None
Weekend Requirement: None

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists. The PTA will assist in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients through therapeutic exercises, massage, gait and balance training, and other prescribed interventions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and accurately documenting and reporting outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure optimal patient recovery and care continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities
• Perform modalities such as massage and other therapeutic interventions
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Communicate patient status updates to supervising Physical Therapist
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of care in accordance with facility protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience (Required)
• Active Texas PTA license or Compact License (Required)
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under PT supervision
