Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Breckenridge, TX
Shift: 8-hour Day Shift

New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:

• Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation
• Assist patients in improving strength, balance, and coordination
• Document patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy activities and goals
• Ensure all care is delivered according to established clinical protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Required)
• Eligible for or active PTA licensure
• Current BLS certification through AHA or equivalent (Required)
• Completion of NPTE for PTAs (FSBPT)
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles
• Ability to follow instructions and work under PT supervision
• Strong communication, empathy, and patient care skills
• Physical ability to assist patients with mobility and exercises
