Description
Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech - Nights (4x10s)
Job Description: Malone Healthcare is seeking an experienced, high-caliber Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech for a 13-week night-shift contract in Kentucky. This role demands strong clinical autonomy and advanced procedural knowledge, specifically focusing on neuro-interventional cases. If you hold an active KY license and excel in a fast-paced IR suite, we want to fast-track your profile!
Weekly Schedule:
- Shift: Nights, 4x10-Hour shifts
- Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Hours Guaranteed: 40 hours per week
Position Requirements:
- Experience: Strong, dedicated Interventional Radiology background with proven neuro experience required.
- Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) state radiation license required at the exact time of submission.
- Certifications: Active ARRT(R) and BLS are required. ARRT (VI) certification is highly preferred.
- Systems: Prior hands-on experience using Epic and PACS is required.
- Leadership: Ability to mentor and supervise imaging students on rotation within the department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce top-tier diagnostic and interventional images under the direction of the attending interventionalist.
- Adhere strictly to ALARA radiation safety standards to minimize exposure to patients, self, and team.
- Provide compassionate, age-specific patient care, explaining complex procedures clearly to alleviate patient anxiety.
