Travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo/Vascular) – Batesville, AR
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for an exciting travel opportunity at White River Medical Center, a leading regional referral and Level I Trauma Center in Batesville, Arkansas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Echo/Vascular Sonographer looking to expand their experience in a dynamic hospital setting while earning a highly competitive rate.
Position Details
- Position: Travel Cardiac Sonographer
- Location: Batesville, Arkansas
- Facility: White River Medical Center
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)
- Schedule:
- Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
- On-Call Requirement: One weekday night per week
Responsibilities
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
Required Procedures & Skills
- Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE)
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Stress Echocardiograms
- Definity Contrast Echocardiograms
- Venous Doppler Studies
- Venous Reflux Studies
- Carotid Doppler Exams
- Arterial Doppler Studies
- ABI Testing
- Vein Mapping
- Pericardiocentesis Assistance
- Thrombin Injection Assistance
- IV Starts
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Sonography experience
- Strong Echo and Vascular experience
- Experience performing Definity Contrast Echocardiograms
- Ability to independently start IVs
- Experience with MediTech EMR
- Active ARDMS Certification
- Active BLS Certification (AHA)
Equipment & Technology
You'll work with advanced imaging technology, including:
- Philips CVX Epiq Systems
- Philips Elite Epiq Systems
- Vasculab ABI Equipment
- MediTech EMR
