What You’ll Do:

• Provide routine and complex emergency care independently, demonstrating clinical expertise and excellent judgment.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care following the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for side effects, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families, addressing their psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Manage a high patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 in a high-acuity environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA.
• CPI Blue Card certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle a diverse case mix confidently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with stroke, cardiovascular, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health, and sepsis cases.
• Previous exposure to a high-acuity emergency setting.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• One or more years of related nursing experience highly valued.

Additional Requirements:

• Shift: Nights, 7 PM – 7 AM.
• Every other weekend commitment.
• Ability to attend organizational orientation within the first 30 days.
• Physical ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• No on-call or floating requirements; work at a designated site only.
