Job Title: Travel Cath Lab / IR Tech - Multi-Campus Float (Omaha Metro)

Job Description: Malone Healthcare is seeking a highly versatile, dual-trained Travel Cath Lab / IR Tech for a premier 13-week assignment in the Omaha, NE / Council Bluffs, IA metro area. This dynamic role primarily manages an Interventional Radiology workload with inpatient cardiac add-ons and emergency STEMI responses. If you are an autonomous tech with 3+ years of dual experience and an active RCIS, we want to fast-track your submission!

Weekly Schedule & Call Requirements:

  • Shifts: Days (Exact shift hours approved by supervisor)
  • Weeknight Call: Minimum 10 call shifts per contract (16:00 - 07:00)
  • Weekend Call: Minimum 2 weekends of call per contract (1 IR, 1 Cardiac)
  • Call Response Time: Must be within a strict 30-minute response time to Immanuel Medical Center.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated, hospital-setting Cardiac Cath & Interventional Radiology experience. Must be competent in intra-procedural circulating, supply management, medication/sedation assistance, and emergency STEMI prep (including IABP stabilization).
  • Certifications: Active RCIS, BLS, and ACLS are mandatory.
  • Systems & Equipment: Proficiency with Siemens labs, Epic, and Apollo cardiac charting.
  • Floating: Must be willing to float daily and for call coverage across three regional campuses (Immanuel, Lakeside, and Mercy CB).

Strict Facility Guardrails:

  • Employment Restrictions: Candidates cannot hold active FT, PT, or PRN status with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility.
  • Radius Rule: Must live 50+ miles away. A valid Driver's License must be submitted upfront with your profile to verify distance.
  • Fingernail Policy: Artificial nails are strictly prohibited in all patient care areas (non-compliance results in termination).
  • RTO: Max 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract; must be requested at the exact time of submission.

Facility Highlights:

  • Equipment: 3 state-of-the-art Siemens suites averaging 4-5 cases/day.
  • Dress Code: Surgical greens (provided).
  • Orientation: 1 full week of department-specific orientation, including an on-call "buddy call" system.
