Telemetry RN Travel Contract

Weekly Hours:
• 36 hrs/week (3x12s)

Shift Options:
• Days: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Nights: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Unit Details:
• 32-bed Telemetry Unit
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Adult and Geriatric population

Requirements:
• Travel experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong Med-Surg and Telemetry experience
• Critical drip experience required
• Chemo experience preferred

Patient Population:
• CHF
• Chest Pain
• Post Cardiac Cath Patients (Femoral and Radial)
• Cardiopulmonary diagnoses

Required Drip Experience:
• Nitroglycerin
• Amiodarone
• Lasix
• Heparin
• Dopamine (low-dose renal perfusion)

Unit Support:
• Monitor Techs available 24/7
• Charge RN on every shift
• House Supervisor available 24/7
• CNA Support:

• Days: 1:10
• Nights: 1:15

Schedule:
• Every other weekend
• Holiday rotation with core staff
• Block scheduling available based on unit needs

Float Requirements:
• Med-Surg Units (3P or 5P)
• Emergency Department boarding patients when needed

Dress Code:
• Navy Blue Scrubs for RNs
• Closed-toe shoes required

Orientation:
• Hospital Orientation
• Nursing Orientation
• Computer Training
• Two 12-hour precepted shifts
