What You’ll Do:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Ambulatory and Swing Bed patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assess patient needs across biophysical, environmental, psychosocial, and educational domains
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure optimal care delivery
- Maintain clinical skills and adhere to infection control and safety policies
- Support patient advocacy through coordination of care and discharge planning
- Participate in staff orientation and ongoing education initiatives
Required Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current, active Florida RN licensure in good standing
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess, modify, and deliver patient-centered care
- Knowledge of nursing standards and practices in a clinical setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ambulatory and swing bed patient populations
- Experience with therapy services referral and coordination
- Familiarity with utilization review processes and insurance standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Prior experience in similar outpatient or lower-acuity inpatient settings
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including day and night hours
- Ability to perform in an environment requiring prompt decision-making and teamwork
- Physical ability to perform patient assessments and assist with mobility
