Description

Labor & Delivery RN – L&D / Postpartum / Nursery

Shift Information

Primary Shift: Night 3x12-Hour
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Alternate Shift: Night 4x12-Hour
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  
  Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) AltShift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Schedule Pattern: 36/48-hour pay period structure (facility-wide standard)
Blocked scheduling: Not permitted

Required Experience

Minimum 5+ years recent Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience in an acute care setting
Must have experience in:
- Labor & Delivery
- Postpartum (PP)
- Nursery care
Resource will rotate across L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery units

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NRP
Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

EMR

Meditech experience preferred/required

Floating & Scheduling

Floating required within scope of practice
Every other weekend required
Ratios may fluctuate based on census and unit needs

Licensure

Active Kentucky RN License or Compact License required
