Description
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and Couplet Care experience
- Recent L&D, Postpartum, and Nursery experience required
- Experience caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, high-risk OB, and laboring patients
- Experience with well babies, phototherapy, and special care nursery patients
- Ability to start adult and neonatal IVs, perform newborn assessments, APGAR scoring, PKU testing, and neonatal resuscitation
- Experience with C-sections, postpartum recovery, epidurals, Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin drips
- Strong fetal monitoring and interpretation skills
- Experience with IUPC, ISE, amnioinfusion, Cytotec, and ECV procedures
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Must be willing to float to other departments as needed
- Must be available to work any shift (nights preferred)
- Must work 80 hours every 2 weeks (no exceptions)
