Position:Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN Tele)

Location: Camp Hill, PA 17011

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract + Possible Extensions

Shift: Night Shift – 12 Hours (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM)

Expected Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Note: Local candidates are accepted as well (Facility has 50 miles radius rule) 
Pay for local candidate: $52/hr - $57/hr 

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a progressive acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills and experience caring for patients with complex cardiovascular and medical conditions. This role requires flexibility to float between assigned units and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for telemetry and cardiac patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Care for patients with cardiac and vascular post-procedural conditions.
• Manage patients with NSTEMI, congestive heart failure, dysrhythmias, and post-open-heart recovery needs.
• Provide care for patients with chest tubes, cardiac stents, and other cardiovascular interventions.
• Administer medications, blood products, and specialized treatments according to physician orders.
• Operate and monitor CPAP/BiPAP equipment as needed.
• Perform emergency interventions, including cardioversion and defibrillation when required.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility standards.
• Float to designated units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact state Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
• NIHSS Certification required.
• Experience with chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, blood product administration, cardioversion, and defibrillation.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to float to assigned units as needed.
