Position Overview

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient oncology coverage while recruiting for a permanent provider. This role focuses primarily on follow-up care and treatment management in a collaborative oncology practice.
 

Clinical Responsibilities

• Follow-up oncology visits at 3, 6, and 12-month intervals
• Manage active treatment and surveillance patients
• Order oncology-related testing and diagnostic studies
• Refill medications and coordinate ongoing treatment plans
• Collaborate with ancillary services and care teams
• Manage patient messages, basket work, emails, and follow-up communications
• No new patient consults required

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Oncology experience required
• Recent Epic EMR experience preferred
• Vaccination and Booster Required
• Oregon License and DEA required prior to start
• Washington License and DEA also required (licensing candidates considered)

Credentialing

• Estimated 45–60 Days
• Licensing candidates will be considered
