Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care for critically ill patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic data, and other critical patient indicators.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and vasoactive drips in accordance with physician orders.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements.
Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification.
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required.
Previous travel nursing experience required; candidates with prior contract renewals preferred.
