• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks (High potential for extension!)
• Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: Weekdays + Every Other Weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:20
• Unit: Behavioral Health RN (Adults)

🏥 Facility & Unit Overview

• Adult Behavioral Health Unit
• Daily Census: ~84 patients
• 20-bed unit
• EMR: Avatar
• Interdisciplinary support team available
• Equipment includes mechanical restraints

🧠 Patient Population

You’ll work with adult patients experiencing:

• Bipolar Disorder
• Schizoaffective Disorder
• Mood & Psychotic Disorders
• Substance Use Disorders
• Suicidal Behavior
• Trauma & Stress-Related Conditions

✅ Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 1+ year of Behavioral Health experience
• BLS Certification (Required)
• CPI & First Aid (can be obtained during orientation)
• Strong experience with:
  • Medication administration
  • Crisis intervention & emergency care
  • Seclusion/restraint protocols
  • Therapeutic communication & psychoeducation

Charge experience preferred but not required

⚠️ Important Notes

• Fingerprinting Required: Must be completed in West Virginia 7–10 days prior to start (state requirement)
• Travelers must be flexible – block scheduling is not available
• Strict attendance policy in place
• Only 1 RTO request allowed per contract
• Holiday RTO limited to 1 major holiday
