MRI Tech Travel/Contract Position
Location: Kingman, Arizona
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Job Summary
Lead MRI Technologist role requiring strong leadership and technical skills in radiology and cardiology imaging. The position involves collaboration across modalities and departments, protocol adjustment/creation, and scheduling responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Recent MRI Technologist experience within the last year.
- Certification in MRI through ARRT or ARMRIT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in leadership roles.
- Prior travel experience.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Lead MRI tech duties with emphasis on collaboration among different imaging modalities and departments.
- Adjusting and creating imaging protocols on MRI equipment.
- Creating on-call and daily staff schedules.
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Background check: 7-year search within 30 days of start, updated annually, including SS trace, county searches, nationwide, sex offender, and education verification.
- Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks.
- Education verification through primary source (NSCH).
- Physical exam within 1 year of start.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start; annual TB questionnaire required.
- Immunization or titer proof for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella as applicable.
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screen acceptable).
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31).
- Two professional references within 3 years.
- Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable.
- Facility-specific forms and agreements must be completed as a priority.
- Clear, passport-style photo for badge required.

- Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
- This is a travel/contract position with a minimum 6-month commitment.
