Job Summary:
 

W.W. Hastings Hospital is seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses for a high-acuity L&D unit delivering approximately 850–900 babies annually. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, newborns, and families while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and physician-ordered treatments.
• Assist with labor management, deliveries, emergency interventions, and newborn stabilization.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including fetal monitors, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, newborn care, and discharge planning.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced maternal-child environment.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and credentialing requirements.
