Travel: RN - PACU 

Position Information: 

• Type of patients on the unit: Could see anything from newborn tubes to geriatric. Typical cases include orthopedics, general surgery, some vascular, ENT, urology, and breast reconstructions. Need to be able to take care of critical care patients needing to be transferred to critical care.

SHIFT: Shift: 11:30AM-8:00PM Monday-Friday as primary shift, but able to work several shifts depending on needs. Example (715-345, 830-5, 930-6, 715-6, 530-4, 530-2, 6-6.

REQUIRED Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• BLS certification required from AHA
• ACLS certification required from AHA
• PALS certification from AHA or ENPC certification required
• RN License in state of employment or compact

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred

Experience

• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• BLS required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS or ENPC certification required
• RN License in state of employment or compact

Position Requirements:

Education/Skills

• All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member and initial on-boarding requirements are validated through successful completion of the designated organizational entry competency validation and a Perioperative Department-specific competency validation.
• Completion of all annual competency verification requirements.

Experience

• Perioperative RN Residency, or recently practicing in an OR/Perioperative Setting preferred.
