Job Summary:
 

Akron Campus is seeking experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurses to join a fast-paced 36-bed inpatient unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. Nurses must be comfortable managing diverse patient populations and adapting quickly to changing assignments throughout the shift.
 

Patient Population:

• General Surgery
• Colorectal Surgery
• Abdominal Surgery
• Urology
• Women's Health
• Gynecology & GYN Oncology
• ENT
• Orthopedic & Spine/Neuro Overflow
• Cardiothoracic Patients
• Trauma Patients
• High-Risk Obstetrical Patients

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience
• Current BLS Certification
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Float flexibility required

Additional Information

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–1:6
• Local and Traveler candidates accepted
• Travel pairs accepted (must work different schedules)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed and must be submitted upfront
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Block scheduling is not available
• Solid black scrubs required
