Description
CVOR Surgical Technologist
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- Call required
- BLS certification required
- Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
- Scrub and assist during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and supplies.
- Pass instruments, hold retractors, cut sutures, and assist surgeons during procedures.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
- Ensure compliance with perioperative and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, and the surgical team to provide quality patient care.
