·       Labor experience

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·        AWHONN Intermediate, RNC-EFM,

·        Postpartum

·       Lactation/breastfeeding assistance

·       Circulating in the OR for C/S

·       Triage

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·         Inductions, vaginal deliveries, C/S with or without tubals, speculum exams,

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       BLS, NRP, STABLE

About the unit:

Number of Beds – 25 LDRP rooms, 4 triage rooms

·       Shift for this position – 5-5 (days or nights)

·       Call Expectation -- none

·       Number of Staff –

·       Type of staff:

o   Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 triage, 6-7 labor nurses 2-3 postpartum nurses, 1 ward clerk, 1 C.N.A. 1 OB Tech

o   Night Shift – 1 charge, 1 triage, 4-5 labor nurses, 2-3 postpartum nurses, 1 ward clerk, 1 C.N.A., 1 OB Tech

·       Patient Ratios – Labor- 1:1-2 Postpartum 3-4 couplets

·       EMR – CPN and Meditech
