Job Summary:
 

Akron Campus is seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses for a 33-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This position is ideal for nurses with strong telemetry experience, charge nurse experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced cardiac care environment.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and cardiac patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to rhythm changes.
• Perform blood draws, IV starts, and IV maintenance.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when needed and assist with unit operations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.

Requirements:

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Telemetry RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent Charge Nurse experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficient in blood draws and IV insertion/maintenance
• Float flexibility required

• 33-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit
• Patient Ratio: 1:5–1:6
• Interview Required
• Please provide candidate interview availability with submission
• Local and Traveler candidates accepted
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed and must be submitted upfront
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Solid black scrubs required
