Job Summary:
 

Barberton Campus is seeking an experienced PCU/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a 34-bed Cardiac Progressive Care and Stroke Overflow Unit. This fast-paced environment requires strong cardiac nursing skills, telemetry experience, and the ability to manage complex patient populations while delivering high-quality patient care.
 

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac PCU, telemetry, and stroke overflow patients.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to patient condition changes.
• Manage cardiac drips and administer medications safely.
• Perform blood draws, IV starts, and IV maintenance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
• Float to appropriate units as needed based on staffing requirements.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must be listed on resume)
• Recent phlebotomy experience within the last year
• Proficient in IV insertion and maintenance
• Comfortable managing cardiac drips
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Float flexibility required

• Patient Ratio: 1:4–1:5
• Interview Required

• Local and Traveler candidates accepted
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed and must be submitted upfront
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Solid black scrubs required
