🏥 Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Care Role (SCL Health)

📍 Role Overview

The Registered Nurse performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards and organizational policies. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care across the continuum.

👩‍⚕️ Core Nursing Responsibilities

🩺 Patient Care Management

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Continuously collect and evaluate patient health data
• Monitor and reassess patient conditions and care outcomes

💉 Clinical Interventions

• Provide therapeutic and restorative treatments
• Execute delegated medical functions as appropriate
• Refer patients for additional evaluation or specialized treatment when needed

📚 Patient Education & Support

• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families
• Support patient understanding of treatment plans and health conditions

📊 Care Coordination & Documentation

• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document all care in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Utilize appropriate resources to support patient care and decision-making
