Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 3x12s | Every other weekend required

💙 Unit Overview – Interventional Care Unit (IVCU)

18-bed cardiac-focused stepdown unit
Specializes in:
- STEMI / NSTEMI
- Post-PCI & Cath Lab recovery
- CHF, COPD, and chest pain management
- Advanced cardiac procedures (pacemakers, pericardiocentesis, thoracentesis)
Additional care includes:
- Chest tubes, trachs, CIWA protocols
- Hi-flow oxygen & BiPAP support

Staffing & Ratios:

4:1 patient ratio
Team-based model: 5 RNs + CNC support
Additional support from LNAs and Unit Clerk

🛠️ Technology & Equipment

Meditech Expanse EMR
IV pumps, Sara Steady, Hoyer lifts
Hi-Flow, BiPAP, Kangaroo pumps
Bladder scanner & more

✅ Requirements

Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience
Active NH RN License or Compact License (required at submission)
BLS, ACLS from AHA, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong Telemetry/PCU experience
Comfortable with post-operative and cardiac-focused care
