Compensation

💰 Up to $90/hr (Providers residing within 50 miles)
💰 Up to $105/hr (Providers residing outside 50 miles)

Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage available for eligible providers.

Opportunity Overview

Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide coverage in a 10-bed Neuro ICU. The facility prefers one full-time provider but will consider multiple APPs for ongoing coverage.

This is a no-call inpatient opportunity with flexible day or night 12-hour shifts.

Schedule

🕒 12-Hour Shifts

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

📅 Approximately 14 Shifts per Month

Responsibilities

• Manage Neuro ICU patients

• Perform admissions, evaluations, and daily rounding

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

• Monitor critically ill neurological patients

• Participate in treatment planning and patient management

Requirements

✔ NP or PA

✔ Active NC License or IMLC Eligibility

✔ BLS & ACLS Certifications

✔ Neurocritical Care, Neurology, Critical Care, or Hospitalist experience preferred

✔ Comfortable working independently in an ICU setting

Credentialing

⏳ Approximately 90 Days
