Job Description:
Position Summary:

Perform daily clinical adult cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures (echocardiography), assessing basic and advanced cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, creating preliminary reports for interpretation by cardiologist.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required

    Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology from a CAAHEP program or Health Science Program
    American Heart Association BLS
    Current Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
    Six (6) months of clinical training in cardiac ultrasound or comparable experience

Preferred

Two (2) years of experience in post-graduation cardiac ultrasound
American Heart Association ACLSport ICU and Step-Down/Intermediate Unit; floating between these units is a requirement of the assignment, based on census and operational needs.
