Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) / Med-Surg unit. You’ll play a key role in patient assessment, care planning, and delivering life-supporting treatments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions
- Monitor patient conditions and update care plans accordingly
- Provide health education and counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document care in accordance with hospital guidelines
- Float to other units as needed (within scope)
- Participate in on-call rotation if required
Requirements
- Active RN license (Colorado or compact)
- ASN required (BSN preferred)
- BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
- NIH certification required
- Previous RN experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC certification
- Prior IMC / Med-Surg experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
