Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Behavioral Health
📍 Burkeville, VA
💰 Up to $2,006 Weekly Gross
🧠 Behavioral Health | Geriatric Psychiatry
We are seeking compassionate and experienced LPNs for a Behavioral Health assignment serving the geriatric population. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with psychiatric, behavioral health, long-term care, or geriatric experience who are passionate about providing quality care to a vulnerable patient population.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: 6/10
- 13-Week Contract
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Rotating Schedule (2 x 8-hour shifts and 2 x 12-hour shifts)
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Compensation
- Up to $2,006 Weekly Gross
Requirements
- Active Virginia or Compact LPN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 Year of LPN Experience
- Behavioral Health Experience Required
- Geriatric Experience Required
- Medication Administration Experience Required
- Psychiatric and/or Long-Term Care Experience Preferred
- Travel Experience Not Required
- COVID Vaccination Not Required
Patient Population
This assignment supports older adults with behavioral health and neurocognitive conditions.
Common diagnoses include:
- Psychiatric disorders
- Dementia and neurocognitive disorders with behavioral disturbances
- Patients with multiple medical comorbidities
- Patients requiring assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Forensic behavioral health population
