Radiology Technologist – Travel Assignment (Weekend Block Schedule)
📍 Lafayette, Colorado
🏥 Department: Radiology
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Friday–Sunday | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
📅 Start Date: 07/06/2026 | Contract Length: ~13 Weeks

⭐ About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiology Technologist (ARRT certified) for a high-demand travel assignment at a respected acute care facility in Lafayette, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is looking for a consistent weekend night shift schedule with competitive pay and strong clinical exposure.
You’ll be working in a collaborative, patient-focused radiology department where quality imaging and patient safety are top priorities.
🏥 Key Responsibilities
As a Radiology Technologist, you will:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures per physician orders
- Operate and maintain X-ray imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Position, educate, and immobilize patients to ensure accurate imaging results
- Ensure proper image quality evaluation before submission to Radiologists
- Maintain timely workflow and coordinate imaging exams efficiently
- Follow all radiation safety protocols (ALARA standards)
- Prepare and administer contrast as per radiologist protocol
- Maintain strict infection control and sterile technique practices
- Accurately document and submit imaging and clinical information
- Support and supervise student radiographers when applicable
- Maintain clear communication with patients, physicians, and care teams
🧠 Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1+ year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic X-ray procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospital imaging systems
🎓 Certifications Required
- ARRT (R) Certification – Required
- BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
- CT Certification – Preferred
- Radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for assignment
