📍 Lafayette, Colorado 
🏥 Department: Radiology
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Friday–Sunday | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
📅 Start Date: 07/06/2026 | Contract Length: ~13 Weeks
⏳ Hours: 36 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Radiology Technologist (ARRT certified) for a high-demand travel assignment at a respected acute care facility in Lafayette, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a tech who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is looking for a consistent weekend night shift schedule with competitive pay and strong clinical exposure.

You’ll be working in a collaborative, patient-focused radiology department where quality imaging and patient safety are top priorities.

 

🏥 Key Responsibilities

As a Radiology Technologist, you will:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures per physician orders
  • Operate and maintain X-ray imaging equipment safely and effectively
  • Position, educate, and immobilize patients to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Ensure proper image quality evaluation before submission to Radiologists
  • Maintain timely workflow and coordinate imaging exams efficiently
  • Follow all radiation safety protocols (ALARA standards)
  • Prepare and administer contrast as per radiologist protocol
  • Maintain strict infection control and sterile technique practices
  • Accurately document and submit imaging and clinical information
  • Support and supervise student radiographers when applicable
  • Maintain clear communication with patients, physicians, and care teams 

 

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1+ year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic X-ray procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospital imaging systems 

 

🎓 Certifications Required

  • ARRT (R) Certification – Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
  • CT Certification – Preferred
  • Radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for assignment
