• 36-hour guarantee

Pay:
Travel (70+ miles):
• W2: $20/hr
• Stipends (non-taxed): $1,025/week

Weekly Gross:
• $1,745 (36 hrs)

Position Overview:
Aequor Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at Nevada Southern Detention Center in Pahrump, NV. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a correctional environment, including medication administration, assessments, treatment planning, emergency response, and collaboration with medical providers and facility staff.

Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments
• Conduct nursing assessments and sick call
• Monitor acute and chronic medical conditions
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
• Supervise and support nursing staff as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and facility staff
• Provide patient education and health counseling
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare standards

Requirements:
• Must live at least 70 miles away from facility
• Active RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid driver's license
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience 
• Comfortable working in a correctional environment
• Must be able to pass background screening
• Open availability for scheduling needs
