Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled MRI professional who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and is comfortable performing a wide range of advanced imaging procedures. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Conduct a variety of scans including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and breast imaging studies.
• Safely scan critically ill and ICU patients while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information within the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Adhere to departmental quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule & Requirements

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM).
• Every third weekend required.
• On-call coverage required: approximately three weekdays per month and one weekend during the assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• Siemens MRI scanner experience required.
• ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Candidate must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
