Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek. Special Requirements: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Multi-system organ failure Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention IV insulin protocols GI Surgery Chronic/Acute Renal failure Arterial line management Blood Product Administration Central line care/management PICC line management Continuous IV sedations Titrate Cardiac drips Titrate Vasoactive drips BiPap and CPAP Management care of ventilated patients HFNC interpretation of ABGs suctioning vent management infection prevention isolations/use of PPE Unit Information: Heavy Medical ICU. Some surgical patients. Mainly GI or carotids. Very active 24/7 Cath Lab which admits into ICU.
