Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds : Procedural Area- 6 procedural rooms with 2 Angiography suites, 2 vascular OR’s

·         Patient Ratios : 1:1

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Angio- 2 Techs, 2 RNs, CST / OR- CST, RN, Anesthesia, Resident & Attending

·         Type of equipment: NA

·         Documentation system: EPIC

·         Scheduling requirements: 4-10 hour shifts 6:30a-5pm with call

·         Floating policy: Between OR and Angio

·         Patient Experience requirements: NA

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist, BLS

Hiring profile

Years of Experience Required: 3+ years OR experience, strong vascular experience / hybrid experience preferred

Requested Skill Set: Vascular Surgery & highly adaptable candidates required

Must have: Vascular Surgery experience required  

Advanced skills needed: NA

Procedures performed on unit: Carotids, AAA, AV fistula, Fem-Pop, Cut downs, Endarterectomy, TCAR, Thoracics, Thrombectomies- Open

Certifications Required: CST, BLS
