Job Type: Temporary Contract, Temp-to-Perm (opportunity to extend or convert to permanent employment based on business needs)

Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Position Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and Clinical Decision Unit (CDU). Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to assess patient needs, implement care plans, monitor patient conditions, and adjust treatments as necessary. Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions in the ED/CDU.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as required.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and clinical guidelines.
• Educate patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ER-specific certifications required.
• Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Ability to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a hospital ED/CDU unit.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic charting systems.

Additional Information:

• On-site position; remote work is not applicable.
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
