Position: Dental Hygienist 
Location: Red Lake Hospital, Red Lake, MN 
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM CST  
Contract Length: 1 Year with option to extend  
Estimated Start Date: Pending contract award and completion of the onboarding process 

Compensation: 

• Regular Pay Rate: $55/hour
• Weekly Stipend for travelers: $1,246
• Health & Welfare (benefit per hour worked): $5.09
• Estimated Weekly Gross (based on 40 hours): $3,649
• Please keep in mind that payroll is processed on a biweekly basis.

Benefits:  

• Health and Welfare: $5.09/hr (Up to 40 hours worked per week)
• PTO: 5 days after 6 months, an additional 5 days at 1 year of service
• Accrued sick days: 1 hour for every 36 hours worked
• 11 Paid Holidays: Following the Government calendar throughout the year 

Job Description 

The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive and therapeutic dental care services while promoting oral health and patient education in a clinical setting. 

Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Active Minnesota Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• BLS certification
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience preferred 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform oral prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning
• Conduct oral health assessments
• Take and interpret radiographs
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Apply sealants and fluoride treatments
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
