Tuesday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Day Shifts

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Temple, Texas. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing high-quality echocardiographic examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to delivering outstanding cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by cardiologists.
• Accurately document patient histories, exam findings, and procedural information.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout all imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment while adhering to quality assurance standards.
• Recognize and communicate urgent or abnormal findings to the appropriate clinical team.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular or diagnostic medical sonography program.
• RDCS, RCS, or equivalent echocardiography credential preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous echocardiography experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
