Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care in accordance with state nursing regulations and facility policies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and delegated medical functions as prescribed.
• Provide patient and family education to promote health, recovery, and wellness.
• Monitor therapy and treatment plans, making appropriate recommendations as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Utilize available resources effectively to support patient care and departmental goals.
• Promote the facility's mission, vision, values, and service excellence standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to float to other units/departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on facility needs.
• May be required to participate in on-call coverage during scheduled shifts.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills required.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required (additional certifications may be required by specialty).
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
