Patient Population

• Adult Medical Patients
• Adult Surgical Patients
• Occasional Postpartum Patients
• Occasional Pediatric Patients

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to care for a diverse patient population
• Experience working in acute care settings preferred

Additional Facility Requirements

• Agency must be listed on the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List.
• Joint Commission Accredited agencies only.
