Travel RN – Med Surg / Critical Access Hospital (CAH)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) team for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a rural healthcare setting where flexibility and collaboration are essential.

This role requires a strong Med Surg background and a willingness to assist in the Emergency Department when needed.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Full-Time
• Shift: Nights
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Critical Access Hospital Setting

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN License or Multistate Compact License
• AHA BLS Certification
• AHA ACLS Certification
• Recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
• Strong IV medication administration skills
• Must be willing to assist in the Emergency Department as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to Medical Surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer IV medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Assist with Emergency Department patient care when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Support a team-focused care environment.
